报告题目:Combustion Control of Gasoline Engines

报告人简介:Tielong Shen received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sophia University, Japan. From April 1992, he has been a faculty member of the Chair of Control Engineering in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sophia University, where he currently serves as full Professor. Since 2005, he is also served concurrently “Luojia Xuezhe” Chair Professor of Wuhan University, and Visiting Professor for several universities including University of Science and Technology of China. He also joined Newcastle University, Australia, as Visiting Fellow in 2003, and University of Rome “Tar Vergata”, Italy, as Visiting Professor, in 2009.

His research interests include control theory and applications in automotive systems, power systems, and mechanical systems. He served as General Chair of CCC&SICE2015, and Publicity Chair of ECC2015. He is currently a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Automotive Control and IFAC Technical Committee on Automotive System Control.

Prof. Shen has author/co-authored eleven text books in Japanese, English and Chinese, respectively, and has published more than 150 research papers in peer-reviewed major journals. His new book, entitled “Transient Control of Gasoline Engines” CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, 2016, is now focused attention

报告简介:Recently, as an efficient method to improve engine efficiency, cycle-by-cycle management of combustion event for internal combustion engine is focused much attention in engine control field. This talk presents several case studies of combustion quality control. Recent progress of combustion control research activity at Shen laboratory of Sophia University will be addressed including cycle-to-cycle model of in-cylinder combustion, knock probability control and statistical control combustion phase.
