报告人简介：

Dr Jiangfeng Zhang, Senior Lecturer, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, UK

Jiangfeng Zhang received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computing mathematics and applied software from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in July 1995 and December 1999,respectively. From February 2000 to August 2002 he was a lecturer at the Shanghai Jiaotong University, China. Then he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France),Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), University of Liverpool (UK), and University of Pretoria (RSA). He was a senior lecturer and then an associate professor at the University of Pretoria during 2008-2013. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, U.K. His research interests include the modeling and control of energy systems, with a focus on energy efficiency and demand-side management. He is a Chartered Engineer and also a member of the IFAC Technical Committee 6.3 on Power and Energy Systems.

报告简介：

This presentation will give a quick review on Demand Side Management (DSM), and then introduce the general optimisation and control modelling techniques for DSM. Case studies on water pumping system control, conveyor belt load shifting, HVAC, PV system maintenance, etc, will be recalled to introduce the application of these modelling techniques.
