报告人简介:
Anna Piwowar, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. Alongside her academic work, she is actively engaged in industrial projects, electrical measurements, expert assessments, and professional training for engineers and electricians. For the past three years, she has also cooperated with Yanshan University, delivering courses in Electrical and Electronics Technology for students of the Silesian College of Intelligent Science and Engineering. As a Board Member of the Gliwice Branch of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) and a collaborator of the Centre of Expertise, she promotes good engineering practice and electrical safety. Her experience from both university teaching and field work allows her to present engineering problems from a practical perspective, showing how technical standards are applied to ensure safety in real installations.
报告摘要:
This lecture explores electrical safety through real-world case studies. Dr. Piwowar will examine how hidden hazards can persist in seemingly normal installations, focusing on shock risks, protective devices, and engineering judgement. Rather than reciting standards, the talk emphasizes the physical principles behind them—reminding participants that while technical solutions vary across the world, the laws of physics do not.
